What if I am looking for a slightly different sized bag than what BetsyBags offer?
I can custom size MOST of my designs. Straps can be easily altered to fit just you. Remember though, all measurements are approximate since this is a handmade item.

What type of fabrics do you use?
I use a variety of fabrics. From a mid-weight 100% cotton to upholstery fabric. Your bag will include several layers of interfacing and fleece depending on the weight and durability of your fabric.

How do I care for my BetsyBag?
I recommend spraying your BetsyBag with a protective spray.
For light soiling, spot clean with a mild detergent and cold water.
BetsyBags are created from high-end cottons, Home Dec. and Upholstery fabrics. Nearly all of the fabric manufacturers recommend professional care to maintain your BetsyBags “like new” appearance.
BetsyBags made with high-end cottons that become heavily soiled or need a thorough cleaning can be hand washed in cold water with a mild detergent. Do not wring or twist your bag. Air or line dry the bag, but never put your bag in the dryer. To remove any minor wrinkles, gently iron with a steam iron on a medium setting.
Dry Cleaning is recommended for heavily soiled BetsyBags made with Home Dec. and Upholstery fabric.

How long will it take to get my BetsyBag?
I typically have bags done within 3 weeks after your payment has cleared. However, it can take as long as 5-6 weeks if there are a large number of orders or a special order fabric to contend with. If you are in a rush, please contact me prior to ordering so we can talk.

How are your bags constructed?
All BetsyBags are made with high quality fabrics. Some are heavier than others, but all have several layers of interfacing. Lighter weight fabrics also receive a layer of fleece to give the bag more structure. All bags are able to sit up by themselves. All seams are double stitched and everything is hand inspected.

Absolutely. I love that people might have fabric already to use. However, contact me and let me know what styles you are considering, how much fabric you have and what type it is so I can come up with a quote for you.

What is our Return Policy?
First, BetsyBags wants you to be happy with your purchase!
It is our policy that any standard, “as is” or “gallery”, pre-made BestyBag purchased from our website can be returned for a refund or exchange (minus original and return shipping charges) within 7 days of receiving your bag, provided the bag is in it’s original wrapping, in perfect condition, and has not been packed with personal items, or used in any way.
All custom made BestyBag sales are final and are not eligible for an exchange or refund. This includes any changes to fabric combinations, addition of custom features, or alterations to the standard size and pocket configuration.
Workmanship Guarantee: We take great care in the construction of each BetsyBag. It is rare that a BetsyBag will arrive with a flaw or a defect. However, should a defect or flaw be detected with your item, please notify us within 14 days of purchase, and we will gladly work with you to replace or repair your bag.
Please note…There will be a $10.00 restock fee on a refunded BetsyBag.
